Kids' Catfish Classic
Will be on June 5th 2010. The Annual Kids' Catfish Classic is held in June, and is a favorite among children. Farm raised catfish are placed in an enclosed area in Lakeside Park and kids race to catch the biggest ones. Although there is a limit to how many catfish you can keep, there is no limit to how many you can catch and release.
Easter Egg Hunt

Annual 4th of July Fireworks
One of the best fireworks shows in the state is right here at home. Grab you're blanket and watch the show from Lakeside Park, Pell City Sports Complex, or from a boat on Logan Martin Lake.
Lights in the Park
During the month of December, Lakeside Park hours are extended as local businesses get into the holiday spirit by providing lighted displays throughout the park and continutes until New Years Day.
